Day1
9:00-12:00 From Chongqing, take subway Line 1 to Jiaochangkou Station, and walk to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and Bayi Road Good food Street.
12:30-14:00 Take subway Line 1 from Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street to Xiaoshi Station and walk to Kuixing Building.
14:30-16:00 Take metro Line 1 from Qixing Tower to Li Ziba Station and walk to Li Ziba Observation Deck.
16:30-17:30 Take metro Line 1 from Li Ziba Observation Deck to Lianglukou Station and walk to Crown Grand Escalator.
18:00-19:30 Take the Crown Grand Escalator to Shiqiaopu Station on Line 1, and transfer to a bus or taxi to Sujia Dam Overpass.

Jiefangpedestrian Street & Bayilu Good food Street
Under the Victory Monument of the War of Resistance, experience the collision between modern commerce and history. The New Year’s Eve countdown atmosphere reaches its peak with tens of thousands gathering. Adjacent Bayi Road features over 200 snack stalls, where you must try Ghost Buns bursting with sauce-packed pork filling, Heji Xingtiao’s crispy skin wrapped in pickled radish and folded ear fungus – 24-hour operations satisfying late-night cravings. The recently concluded May Food Festival here saw a staggering 180% surge in daily revenue.
Kui Sing Lou
Filming locations of “Better Days” showcase industrial aesthetics through gray staircases, while visitors can experience an 8D illusion at the 22nd floor’s suspended walkway by standing on it – wondering whether the ground floor or the 22nd floor is actually a road. A new high-altitude glass observation deck will open in 2025, offering panoramic views of both the Yangtze River Cableway and Raffles City’s Crystal Walkway.

Liziba observation deck
Capture the moment when Line 2 trains pass through the building (most frequent at 10:00/15:00). The newly opened “Soul of the Rock” relief wall depicts the history of road construction in the mountain city. A five-minute walk from here is the retro street “Little Yellow Building”, where you can encounter the filming location of “From Your World to Mine”.
Crowne Plaza escalator
The second-longest steep escalator in Asia (112 meters / 30°), completing a 52.7-meter elevation change in just 2 minutes, and the filming location of the same escape scene as “Hot Pot Hero”. It is recommended to capture the tunnel light and shadow when ascending, and view the traffic lights over Caiyuanba Bridge from the top observation deck at night.
Sujia Dam Overpass
The spiral ramp 72 meters high is like a roller coaster track, giving passengers the thrill of weightlessness and “instant ascension”. In 2025, a new glass walkway “Tongyuan Light” will be built, which will take a 360° panoramic view of the spectacular convergence of Yuzhong Peninsula and two rivers.
Day2
9:00-11:00 Take metro Line 1 from Suzhia Dam Interchange to Xiaoshi Station, and walk to Longmenhao Old Street Xiahuali.
11:30-12:30 Take a bus or taxi from Xiaohao Li, Longmenhao Old Street to Xinhua Road Station of Changjiang Cableway, and walk to the Changjiang cableway.
13:00-15:00 Take a bus or taxi from the Yangtze River Cableway to Chaotianmen Wharf and take a two-river cruise to enjoy the night view of Chongqing.

Longmen Hao Old Street · Xiaohao Li
The century-old building complex has been revived as a cultural landmark, and the red brick arch windows of the former U.S. Embassy have recreated the port opening style. The Lishan Lane Intangible Cultural Heritage tie-dye experience hall + Bangshan Cafe, and the best camera position to capture the Yangtze River cable car crossing the East Water Gate Bridge.
Yangtze River suspension bridge
The 4-minute “air bus” crosses the Yangtze River, and the first and last seats of the bus are captured at dusk to capture the molten gold of the sunset. Secret: Book a ride at South Station (Longmenhao) to save one hour in line than north Station, and the new panoramic glass carriages offer a wider view.
Two River cruise ships
The first choice is the Jinbi series, where you can watch Sichuan Opera face-changing inside the gilded dome. The top deck offers a prime view of Hongyadong and Qiansimen Bridge framed together. At 21:00, avoid the peak hours by taking a flight. As the ship passes Chaotianmen, capture the reflection of Raffles City’s “Crystal Walkway” on the river.
