The ancient theater, hailed as the “Southeast’s Premier Stage”, boasts intricate dome ceilings and ornate caisson wells that utilize acoustic principles for natural sound amplification.

The Suzhou River Cruise
To the east of the Bund Source Pier lies the former site of a rowing club. Behind it stands a two-story British-style mansion that once served as the British Consulate General in Shanghai, originally constructed in 1849 and standing as the oldest building in the Bund architectural complex. The pointed-roof church structure to the left front of the pier was formerly known as Xintian’an Church (also called United Church), featuring a prominent 33-meter clock tower at its center.
